If you’re a bride-to-be, you’ve most likely already started a massive Pinterest board filled with all kinds of stunning picturesque location ideas to tie the knot. It’s no surprise that Sedona’s endless canyons and mesas are among the top places Arizona couples choose to say their vows.
Tim & I were thrilled to be a part of a destination-styled shoot with local Sedona vendors Adventure and Vow Photographer – Traci Edwards, AlaskaZona Adventures Pilot – Eric Rovey, Florist – Mountain High Florist, Jeweler – Eirthie, and dress company – Reclamation Design Company.

Once that special day is on the calendar, next up is beginning the search for the perfect photographer to capture those moments. We were lucky enough to be connected with Adventure and Vow photographer, Traci Edwards, for this afternoon flight from Sedona to Payson.
We started off the afternoon hiking along at Sedona Airport Mesa Trail. With a fresh coat of snow from a winter storm just a couple days before, it made for a beautiful backdrop and stunning 360 degree views of the city.

AlaskaZona Adventures
We met Eric, our pilot for AlaskaZona Adventures, at Sedona Airport and he gave us the full run-down for the air tour! Eric has been flying for 10+ years and spends his summers flying in Alaska and winter months in Arizona.
We were excited to see that he had put ski’s on the plane – Suprise! – We were going to be landing in some snow! After a beautiful 40 min flight to the Payson Arizona area, he scouted a runway buried in snow and touched down in some fresh powder in a secluded location!
Having the opportunity to experience a Sedona flight in a real Alaskan bush plane was an unforgettable time Tim and I will remember forever. It’s truly a great option if you are looking for something fun to do in Arizona.
Based in Scottsdale Arizona, AlaskaZona does offer other flights around the valley that would be great ideas for a date night or proposal trip if eloping isn’t up your alley.

Traci captured our smiles, laughter and happiness so perfectly. Her website for Adventure and Vow says she creates spaces for couples to enjoy each other, and she really does mean it. She planned this wonderful afternoon that will forever be a memory we will treasure.
We even brought along our own camera and snapped some photos out the windows of the beautiful landscape. Being an Arizona resident my whole life, I still had yet to see Sedona from the air and it was remarkable! Especially with a dusting of snow on the red rocks in January.
We would highly recommend all these vendors and can’t wait to come back someday with friends and family and hopefully inspire and inform others of what beauty these companies create!
