I’m excited to share this unique stay at Tiny Camp Sedona, a luxury tiny house retreat in Arizona! Tim and I have always admired the tiny house movement and the idea of minimal living. The thought of decluttering and simplifying life is so appealing—kind of like the Marie Kondo method on steroids.
Update (2025): Since my stay in 2019, Tiny Camp has expanded beyond Sedona! They now offer additional tiny house retreats in Cottonwood, providing even more options for those looking to experience the charm of sustainable, minimalist living. If you’re planning a trip, be sure to check out their latest locations for a unique and cozy getaway.

A Dreamy Tiny House Stay in Sedona
Walking into Tiny Camp Sedona felt like stepping into a designer magazine. The attention to detail in these sustainable cabins was incredible. We stayed in the “Flow” cabin, one of four unique tiny homes on the property.

From the chic interior with calming gray tones to the vaulted ceilings that made the space feel open and airy, it was a dream stay. And yes—there was WiFi, which isn’t always the case in our travel experiences (trust me, our last rental didn’t even have a bathroom).
The Best Features of Our Tiny House Stay
- Cozy Interior & Lofted Bedroom – The open loft design brought in so much natural light, making the space feel much bigger. The bed was cozy and perfect for relaxing after a day exploring West Fork Trail in Sedona.
- Private Deck with Canyon Views – Our cabin had a private deck overlooking Oak Creek Canyon—the perfect spot for morning coffee or yoga. Tiny Camp even provided a yoga mat and locally roasted coffee!
- Modern Amenities in a Sustainable Retreat – While the space was minimalist, it was packed with thoughtful touches like a stocked kitchen, eco-friendly design, and a full bathroom.
A Warm Welcome and Thoughtful Touches from Tiny Camp Sedona
One of the highlights of our stay was the hospitality. Darin, the host, was fantastic to communicate with and made check-in seamless. He even left us a bottle of Arizona-made wine and some delicious vegan snacks—a thoughtful touch that made us feel so welcome!
Note: At the time of our visit, Tiny Camp was still finalizing its pet policy. We got special permission to bring our pups, but be sure to check their current rules if you’re planning to visit with pets.
Enjoy Yoga on the Patio at Tiny Camp Sedona
Not only was the inside super cute but this specific rental has a private viewing deck that overlooks Oak Creek Canyon! Quite a wonderful place to wake up, make some coffee and get your yoga on. They even supplied the coffee and the mat.
The upper level loft overlooks the living room and has some beautiful large windows allowing lots of natural light into the space which really helps this tiny home feel open. The bed was comfortable and cozy.
Would We Live in a Tiny House Full-Time?
As much as I love the idea of tiny house living, with two large dogs and the thought of starting a family, it may not be the right fit for us long-term. But for a weekend escape, Tiny Camp Sedona is the perfect way to experience the magic of minimalist living—without the commitment!
